Florida Drawbridges, Inc. (FDI Services) is looking for a Structural Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Crew performing bridge maintenance and repairs in Broward and Palm Beach County.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform landscape duties such as tree trimming, weed removal, herbicide and debris removal
Clean and paint structural and non-structural areas of the bridge.
Cutting and grinding areas of steel that is rusted
Install nuts, bolts, washers, and other related hardware on signs and various structures.
Pressure cleaning
Work with a team completing a variety of repairs. (Help assist concrete and electrical crews as needed)
Load and unload equipment, supplies, tools, and materials
Performs Maintenance of Traffic (MOT)
Drive company vehicles and tow trailers
Review work order documents and provide photo documentation of completed work
Required Qualifications:
Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to pass a Drug Test
Current and clean driver's record
Ability to work flexible schedule at times
Ability to respond to road closures or incidents at night, or weekends
Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Ability to walk, stand or sit for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and carry up to 25lbs regularly
Obtain MOT certification (training and certification paid for by FDI)
Provide References
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in construction, road maintenance, landscaping or other related outdoor work
Experience in operating gas-powered chain saws, trimmers, leaf blowers, and a variety of power tools
Experience operating boom lifts and working at various levels of heights
Experience driving different type of trucks and tow trailers
Experience operating up to a 34ft work boat
MOT Certified
