Description:Experienced engine and hybrid powertrain calibrators for our global internal combustion engine, diesel, and hybrid electric vehicles. Engineers will be responsible for delivering drivability, tailpipe or evaporative emissions, or on board diagnostics.The position includes working in vehicles, on road, and at test facilities including Allen Test Park Lab, Drivability Test Facility, etc. Models and data simulation may be used too.Calibrate and Sign-off vehicle functional objectives.Document progress and methods used to calibrate / validate parameters within responsibility.Design and conduct tests to validate engine and vehicle fuel economy, performance, emissions, and diagnostics.Evaluate and assess vehicle attributes (performance, fuel economy, emission, NVH) on vehicles and in engine dynamometer cells.Calibration and development of leading edge aftertreatment technologies for PM, NOx, HC, and CO reduction.Calibrators use in vehicle data acquisition systems and are responsible for data analysis and scripting.Skills:propulsion systems calibration, engine calibration tools, read c code, test scripts, ATI Vision, control systems knowledgeTop Skills Details:propulsion systems calibrationAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
