Position Title – Animal Research Manager
Position Description – Swine Services Unlimited Inc. is a progressive swine research company looking to hire a motivated and skilled research manager capable of managing research sites and animal technicians. Duties include:
Meetings with the owners to review current and upcoming trials.
Daily oversight of the research sites, which includes making sure the animals have feed, water, their environment is adequate, relevant paperwork is done and all equipment is functioning.
Working with the owners and other employees to get other tasks completed.
Skills – Previous animal experience, basic mechanical skills, basic computer skills, able to lift 50 pounds, self-motivated and the ability to work independently, as well as with others. Must be able to work every third weekend and have flexible work schedule.
Compensation – $20-23/hr based on experience, health insurance, profit sharing retirement plan after 1 year, production bonuses, health savings account, company vehicle to get to and from the research sites.
