We have a house, a warehouse, and seven storage lockers full of art, furniture, memorabilia, and photographs. Over the next two years, we need to catalog the items in our collections. We’ll pay you to catalog our items and help us donate them to museums or sell them at auction. You won’t have to lift anything heavy. We already have people who can do that.
We need to hire an Organizer / Personal Assistant who’s curious, motivated, and wants to learn about the art market. This is not a hobby. If you can’t concentrate, make phone calls, and solve problems, please don’t apply for this position. If you can concentrate, and can work five days a week, there’s enough work here to keep you busy for at least two years.
You’ll travel to art shows, auctions, galleries, and museums. You’ll also do boring, mundane work like paying bills, and contacting health care and insurance companies. You’ll deal with contractors, electricians, HOAs, plumbers, locksmiths, security companies, and web designers. If you can use Google Drive, InDesign, and Photoshop, that will help. If you like to learn, and can generate your own enthusiasm, we’ll pay a premium for the motivation you bring to the position.
We can afford a qualified, highly-skilled candidate. If you have experience in the art market, and / or in interior design, we’ll pay you a premium for your experience. You’ll get a monthly salary, plus benefits. This is not a part-time position, a remote position, or a job you can do in your spare time. If you live here in Santa Fe and know how Santa Fe works, that will help—a lot. If you don’t live here but qualify for the position, we’ll relocate you to Santa Fe.
