As a General Laborer, you will be part of the manufacturing departmentsupporting wood processing operations. The ideal candidate will have technical skills, attention to detail and strong commitment to quality, aligning successfully in the organization.
Job Title: General Laborer
Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm M-F
Location: Akron, NY
Pay Range: $16.75
What’s the Job?
Set up and perform basic maintenance on wood planner.
Learn and execute the wood drying process for Pine and Bass Klins.
Learn and perform the wood waxing process.
Establish and maintain quality standards for incoming materials.
Safely and efficiently operate assigned equipment.
What’s Needed?
Basic math skills
Prior wood working experience +
HS or GED
Willingness to learn to operate a fork truck
Ability to prioritizeworkload
Abilityto lift tup to 50lbs.
