Description:Read blue prints to review programming specifications. Program and operate multi-axis machining centers Assist in the design of machining fixtures to improve productivity. Select tools and edit efficient programs for CNC machines to maximize utilization and minimize downtime of the equipment. Make offset and edit adjustments on machines. Identify areas of improvement for fixturing, tool paths, tooling, etc. and implement action plans. Assist in training of employees and the development of an entry-level machining program. Aid other employees in determining sequential machining operations and troubleshooting problems. Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors. Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing process outputs and planning work flow. Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
