Core Responsibilities
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to discover automation opportunities and create specification.
Ability to peer review code and act as subject matter expert on coding best practices.
Configure existing applications to implement automation solutions.
Work with CI/CD Pipeline for continuous improvement and development of our automated processes.
Develop custom, production-quality scripts using PowerShell, JavaScript, or other ''scripting'' languages while adhering to our coding standards.
Ability to manage code using Git.
Work with REST APIs, JSON, XML and other APIs and file formats to exchange data between tools and enact automation jobs.
Basic Windows server administration such as Task Scheduler updates and setting permissions.
Ensure that safety guidelines are followed, and the environment is protected in accordance with company policy and government regulations.
Required Education/Experience
Master's Degree Preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering and with a minimum of (2) years of relevant work experience; or
Bachelor's Degree Preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering and with a minimum of (3) years of relevant work experience; or
Associate's Degree Preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering and with a minimum of (5) years of relevant work experience; or
High School Diploma/GED and with a minimum of (7) years of relevant work experience;
Relevant Work Experience
Minimum of 3 years of progressively increasing experience in software development using PowerShell, or Perl/Python/JavaScript.
Experience in collaborating with a technical audience to develop specifications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, CSV and other common data formats and APIs.
