job detailsOur client, and industrial services company is seeking a maintenance manager to lead the team in their 24/7 operation. This is a hands on role with management of multiple supervisors, mechanics, and other union workers. While challenging at times, this is a fantastic opportunity for a next step for a skilled maintenance supervisor to continue to grow within their field and contribute to the success of this organization. Oversees approximately 3 maintenance supervisors, 30 mechanics and porters
Maintains the preventive maintenance programs
Aids the maintenance management team in performing diagnostic troubleshooting
Monitors quality of repairs
Oversees building and physical plant repair issues
Maintains porter schedule to maximize cleaning effectiveness of plant and machinery
Adheres to safety programs
The essential functions of this role include:
working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
working weekends
