Student Pastor
Responsibilities will include the development,
implementation, and ongoing administration of the Student Ministry for Seaside Chapel.
The scope of the responsibilities include middle and high school students.
Focus of the position will include discipleship, community outreach, missions, fellowship, and
evangelism.
Duties
1. Development and implementation of all student programs to include:
a. Discipleship - ensuring each student is taught the Word and how to apply it to their lives.
b. Community Outreach - involving the students in the community as representatives of both God and the church.
c. Evangelism - developing the students to spread the gospel in their everyday walk.
d. Missions - seek out and participate in missions work.
e. Fellowship - planning student fellowship to draw the students closer to each other as well as to reach unchurched students.
f. Be available to students providing advice and guidance as needed.
2. Provide leadership and direction to those supporting the student ministries.
3. Provide support and participation in church wide activities.
4. May be asked to fill in for the Senior Pastor
5. Represent the Seaside Chapel in the community.
Qualifications and Skills
3+ years of student ministry or equivalent.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Planning, development, and implementation skills.
Communication skills, oral and written.
Organizational skills ·
Must be willing to become members of the church. · Ideally seeking married individual
