HEADER PLANER MILL MACHINIST - $22+ (depending on experience)

Night Shift – 1 Position

Set up and operate planer type milling machine that moves work piece back and forth against rigidly held rotating cutters to mill work pieces. Study blueprints or layout on work piece to determine machine set up, and sequence of machining operations. Lift work piece manually or with an overhead crane to position on machine bed. Secure work piece in holding fixture and verifies position. Select cutting tool and mounts it in spindle. Adjust controls to set feed rate, speed of cutting tool, and depth of cut. Turn controls to position cutting tool relative to work piece, starts machine, and engages automatic feed. Observe operation, stops machine to change cutting tool, and adjust controls. Verify conformance of work piece to finished specifications by using measuring instruments to assure accuracy. Maintains production record of parts and jobs fabricated as required by the Department Manager. Remove work piece from machine bed. Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site, ability to work overtime. Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department. Ability to operate pneumatic and electric 4 ½” and 9” grinders Safely and Efficiently. Ability to operate pneumatic, cordless impacts. High School Diploma or General Education degree (GED) preferred. Prior experience preferred, but not required.

HEADER SUB ARC/LANCE/END BLOCK WELDER - $26+ (depending on experience)

Day Shift – 1 Positions –

Night Shift – 4 Positions

Ability to position header at machine clamping using an overhead or jib crane; turn cranks or pushes buttons to align electrode on welding head over the weld joint. Ability to load reel of electrode wire onto machine and threads electrode wire from reel through feed rolls and welding head; turn welding head to set the specified angle of electrode. Fill hopper with specified flux and direct nozzle or gravity feed over weld line. Turn knobs to set current, voltage, and slope, and synchronize feed of wire and flux with speed of welding action. Ability to observe meters and gauges along with observing the weld action for compliance with procedures. Visually examine welds for adherence to specifications; grind welded surfaces as needed. Ability to operate pneumatic and electric grinders. Ability to use and utilize levels. Adjust machine setup to vary size, location, and penetration of bead; layout, fit, and tack work pieces together. Preheat work piece with hand torch or heating furnace; remove surplus slag, flux, and spatter. Ability to remove metal with carbon arc gouger to make repairs if necessary. Maintains production record of parts and jobs fabricated as required by the Department Manager. Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site, ability to work overtime. Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must pass American Society of Mechanical Engineering 1g Saw Plate Test.

HEADER WELDER – COMBINATION A (must have tig/stick experience) - $27+ (depending on experience)

Day Shift – 1 Positions

Night Shift – 3 Positions

Welders must be proficient in blueprint reading for layout. Must be able to correctly fit and weld fabricated and forged components to assemble Header components with Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, and/or Gas Tungsten Arc Welding Process. Position, align, and fit components together and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding using correct welding process and procedure. Ability to set-up welding equipment for use of certain types of material. 3-5 years code welding experience required. Test requirements: pass a 2G plate test with the GTAW root pass and SMAW fill and cap.

HEADER FITTER WELDER- $25+ (Depending on Experience)

Day Shift – 1 Position

Night Shift – 1 Position

Proficient in blueprint reading for layout. Must be able to correctly fit and weld fabricated and forged components to assemble Header components with Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, and/or Gas Tungsten Arc Welding Process as required. Position, align, and fit components together and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding using correct welding process and procedure. Set up welding equipment for the type of material being used. Hammer wedges and drift pins. Grind rough edges, surplus weld, or scale, using portable grinder. Position and turn clamps, and bolts using hand or wrenches. Position work pieces manually or by using overhead or jib cranes. Straighten warped or bent parts with a straightening press. Proficient with a cutting torch and/or plasma cutter. Must be proficient in reading and the proper execution for measuring devices such as tape measures, squares, levels. Maintains production record of parts and jobs fabricated as required by the Department Manager. Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site, ability to work overtime. Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.

HEADER - BLASTER/PAINTER - $18+

Day Shift– 3 Positions

Night Shift – 3 Positions

Abrades surfaces of metal or hard composition objects to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, dirt and to impart specified finish. Shovel or pours abrasives such as sand, grit, or shot of specified grade into machine hopper. Select premixed paints, or mixes required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare paint that matches specified colors. Ability to prep product prior/ post painting. Must be able to us a power spray guy. Must pass Pulmonary Function Test (PFT); must be fitted and able to wear respirator. Physically active & must be able to lift to 50 lbs.

STRUCTURE FICEP OPERATOR - $25+ (depending on experience)

Day Shift – 1 Position

Night Shift – 1 Position

Determine and select machine procedures, tooling requirements, and control settings. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, material planning sheets, sketches, or related technical data to calculate and create cutting and punching programs following blueprints with minimal material usage. Ability to start machine, monitor displays, as well as machine operation to detect malfunctions; observe and listen to machine operation to detect malfunctions such as worn or damaged cutting tools or punching. Ability to identify correct material use as per Bill of Material (BOM). Minimum one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

STRUCTURE SUNRISE OPERATOR - $22+ (depending on experience)

Day Shift – 1 Position

STRUCTURE FITTER WELDER - $25+ (depending on experience)

Night Shift – 5 Positions

Ability to lay out, fit, and weld fabricated components to assemble structural forms. Proficient in blueprint reading for layout. Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding; a layout, positions, aligns, and fits components together; positions work pieces manually or by using overhead or jib cranes. Ability to clamp and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding. Use tape measure, square, combination square, level, and other related hand tools for part fabrication as per blueprints. Perform simple mathematics calculation to find part dimensions. Perform 100% first article inspections (first piece of each fabricated drawing) by visual examine work piece, measure part or hole dimensions or sizes, square, flatness and other drawing instructions. Set up welding machine and welding gun: assemble/disassemble welding tips and its liner, wire feed and voltage, using arc or gas-shielded arc welding equipment. Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts. Operate cutting torch and plasma torch. Operate small saw machine and iron machine for cutting and coping, notching materials. Transfer or position work pieces manually by using overhead or jib cranes. Examines and feels surface of work piece for defects. Forklift is an advantage to perform tasks. Identify and select different type of materials including different grades of metal for fabrication. Selects grade of abrasive wheel, disk and die grinder bits according to specifications, knowledge of abrasives, and condition of metal, and attaches to grinder. Ability to pull trigger to start and hold power tool (i.e. chatter gun, die grinder, angle grinder etc.) and move it over surface of work piece to remove weld splatter, high spot, burr, and rust from surfaces of structure components including scratches, laminated metal and excess weld material. Ability to load trucks manually with lifting equipment. Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site, ability to work overtime. Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department. Must be able to operate other small machines. Must pass American Welding Society 2g Plate Test / Canadian Welding Bureau certified. One-year structural fitting experience recommended.

ASSEMBLY LEAD - $29+ (depending on experience)

Day Shift – 1 Position

Night Shift – 1 Position

Conduct safety daily meeting (Toolbox) to build safety awareness in the workplace. Reinforce safety policy and rules including identifying potential hazards in the work area and reduce or eliminate them. Manage and control manpower including attendance in the responsible area to secure line capacity and to meet delivery schedule. Interpret drawings / blueprints and communicate or instruct team members following standard work instruction and industrial standards (ISO9000, API661 and etc.). Monitor quality in accordance with the company ISO Quality Plan. Trains, or assists in the training of other employees in assembly processes. Must be able to provide supervision and working on units 80% of time. Basic shop knowledge of structure and assembly methods and procedures. Follow updated schedules to meet ship dates provided by management. Manage multiple projects and people to ensure that they are on time and under budget; ability to track hours for the jobs and make sure there is sufficient manpower. Prioritize tasks in a self-directed and time-managed manner. Strong attention to detail, organizational skill and communication skill. Ability to be flexible and change tasks on a moment’s notice. Ability to document data and write clear daily reports or abnormal reports (line stop) including safety reports. Assist and perform essential duties which include the following items. Tubing, Hydro, Inspection, Operate hand tools, Operate roll equipment, set up Gages and run test; sign off on QC check sheet, Climb ladders and roll carts on top and under units for inspection purposes, fill units with air, water, and gases, set up run in equipment, set up fans and motors, assist in placing units in position for inspection. Leads will also be responsible for ensuring all QC check sheets are in compliance. Performs final assembly joining bundle assemblies with plenum and drive assemblies per applicable drawings. Routine trouble shooting and problem solving, including finding ways of improvement for long-term solution. Encourage continuous idea generation from team members for continuous process improvement in cost, time, and safety. Ensure 5S (workplace organization method in the area with good housekeeping manner) is being applied on a daily basis. Ensure all equipment is up-to-date and within the standards needed. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment required.

ASSEMBLY CLASS A - $25+ (depending on experience)

Day Shift – 3 Positions

Building bundles. Experience with plenums/driver for air cooled heat exchangers. Tube Expansion, Hydro, dry out, N2 Purge. The ability to teach and instruct on all of these tasks. Read blueprints and build bundles/sections by following prints, calculate expansion measurements, read expansion measurements, set up and Adjust Expansion machine/gun settings, Tube expansion, All plug and cover duties including choosing suitable thread lubricant, Soap Bubble Testing, Hydro Static Testing, and preparation for Helium Testing, Over Head Crane and Forklift operation, The ability to detect Safe and Unsafe Acts and the willingness to stop an unsafe act. Communication skills to teach others and to lead others in all Bundle/Section Assembly Task in the Air Cooled Heat Exchanger world, If no Air-Cooled Heat Exchanger experience, Shell and Tube Industry Experience may be adequate, Work on your feet six days per week while lifting, pushing, pulling, bending with as much as 50 lbs. of weight, Rigging knowledge for Overhead cranes and lifting in general, Wear eye, ear, and steel toe foot protection at all times, Use Cell phones only on break times during work shifts. Two years of prior assembly related experience.
