We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our elite service team working at major integrated circuit manufacturers across the United States. This immediate opening is for the critical role as a Field Service Engineer supporting gas treatment equipment located in Hillsboro OR. This position offers paid training, and options of both domestic and international travel.

Our innovative technologies for waste gas and wastewater treatment aim to achieve a balance between industrial growth and preservation of natural resources. To accomplish this task, we want employees who are committed to making a difference.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Startup and commissioning of new equipment.

- Provide technical support to customers, sales, and application teams.

- Answer technical questions from our customers about system repairs and applications.

- Stay current with the latest upgrades and training of new products and software.

- Prepare written reports for work performed.

- Conduct warranty repairs, retrofits, and troubleshooting of waste gas abatement systems.

- Provide system maintenance and operation training to our customers.

- Install system upgrades and engage in performance improvement efforts.

- Limited travel to other customers and headquarters (in Germany).

- Work with onsite teams on maintenance issues, alarms, and repairs.

- Job requires standing for extended periods of time.

Required knowledge and experience:

- Degree in electronics, mechanics, or equivalent military training.

- Ideal candidate would have previous gas treatment experience.

- HAZOP experience dealing with toxic, corrosive, and flammable gases.

- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and communication systems.

- 3+ years of experience working with electrical systems

- Ability to read, understand, and follow schematics, plans, and other similar documents.

- Strong customer service and people skills.

- Military experience would be an asset.

- Basic to intermediate PLC experience is a plus.

- High voltage electrical experience is an advantage.
