We manufacture metal building components from our two facilities in South Dakota and Minnesota. We are expanding into a second shift (4pm to 1am Mon-Fri) at our Canton, SD location and are searching for a 2nd Shift Production Specialist to join the team! A clean climate-controlled environment, no layoffs ever, and free health insurance are only a few of the perks. There will be a shift differential of up to $2.00 depending on experience.
2nd shift operates Monday thru Friday, 4pm to 1am
JOB FUNCTIONS:
A Production Team Member's primary responsibility is the operation of machines as assigned, including roll formers, benders, slitters, and forklifts.
This includes manufacturing and handling material such as panels, trims, and fasteners to complete customer orders and maintain inventory count.
This position can be physically demanding. It may require lifting of items up to 50 lbs. and may require you to use a forklift regularly. It also requires frequent bending, stooping, and twisting as well as standing for the duration of the shift. PPE is company-provided (safety glasses, gloves, and sleeves) with a reimbursement on safety-toe shoes.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
A successful Production Team Member will have basic mathematical skills, be a team player, and have a desire to continuously learn.
The ability to stand/walk on concrete floors for 8+ hours a day is required. If you can drive a forklift, that is a plus!
Candidates must be 18 yrs or older and able to pass a drug screen.
