Avalanche Construction Inc., a leading remodeling company specializing in residential remodeling, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the General Manager. Position: General Manager
Location: Anchorage
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee all aspects of remodeling projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Team Leadership: Manage and lead a diverse team of project managers, designers, and construction professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and client relationships. Contribute to the growth and profitability of the company.
Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Monitor financial performance and implement cost-effective measures.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business. Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar executive leadership role within the remodeling or construction industry.
Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
Business development acumen with a successful track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
