We are seeking an experienced building Engineer for maintenance and operation of our commercial high rise building. The ideal candidate will have a some skills in HVAC/R systems don't need a cert and electrical maintenance. This role requires excellent analytical skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. The building Engineer will ensure that all systems operate efficiently and safely while providing technical support and guidance to team members.
Responsibilities
coordinate maintenance activities for building facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
some maintenance to HVAC systems DO NOT NEED CERTS and EMS, card access systems experience helpful low voltage skills helpful.
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory management, and reporting.
Perform routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters to assess system performance
Ensuring timely response to maintenance requests while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to develop schematics for system upgrades or repairs.
Train and mentor junior staff in building maintenance practices and safety procedures.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an building engineer in high rise buildings.
HVAC knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems helpful ,water source heat pump electrical maintenance a big plus, .
Familiarity with programmable EMS controllers CMMS software is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Experience operating scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely.
Excellent communication skills in English; ability to convey technical information clearly to team members and customers.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving in high-pressure situations.
