Job description
We are a Licensed Subcontractor that works with Custom Home Bldrs, Commercial Builders and Concierge Property Mgt. Currently we have a position we need to full fill for a gas technician. Pay ranges $25-35 an hr (DOE) and sometimes OT will be needed. Part time hours can be given during summer time. Please see below what the position consists of and the requirements that are needed for hire:
Position Overview:
>Maintain expertise and service in multiple trades: light gas plumbing(after shut off valve), electrical, HVAC/Gas appliance components. You will be working on Gas Fireplaces, Firepits, Firebowls, Gas Lanterns and the like.
>Prep and Installation for electronic ignition systems, other gas valve systems, fire media and burners.
>Ensure quality control with thorough inspection of team and subcontractor work
>Professional Manner and communication with Customers, which includes: Homeowners, Superintendents, supervisors, Owner/Builder, Property Mgr and Project mgr.
>Proficient in English speaking, writing and reading. If you are Bilingual, it will help with your pay increase.
>On the job training and testing of material/manuals that will be given
>70% of the time you will be working with another technician, must be a team player to check each others work.
>You will be driving a company truck to all Jobsites, you will only use your vehicle to come to the office hub.
Qualifications Needed:
>Valid Drivers License with a Clean Driving record. Criminal Background check will be done before hiring due to our customer base has many security clearances needed before setting foot on jobsite
>2+ years experience in the Gas plumbing or electrical/HVAC trade
>Must be proficient with using Multimeter, Gas manometer, Air Quality Meter, circuit breaker finder and Power Tools (hammer drill, reciprocating saw, and grinder) and wrenches
>3+ years experience working in Custom home new construction & remodel
>Excellent at reading and understanding shop drawing, design specs, troubleshooting guides and videos.
