RH Systems, LLC

Phoenix area (Gilbert)

We're a growing, family-owned business with a worldwide sales footprint looking for a CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our team!

At RH Systems, we set the gold standard for high-precision humidity and temperature instrumentation. As a small, family-owned business with a worldwide reach, we design and manufacture some of the most accurate humidity generation and measurement devices in the world. Our company is growing — and we’re excited to welcome a CNC Programmer/Machinist to our team.

About the Role:

· We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Machinist who can program, set up, and operate 3- and 4-axis HAAS mills and lathes using Mastercam.

· This is a hands-on, technical role where you’ll transform 3D models and 2D prints into high-quality precision parts used in our proprietary humidity and temperature systems.

· You’ll write efficient tool-paths, perform setups, prove out first articles, and deliver consistent results within tight tolerances.

· This is an opportunity to take ownership of your craft and see your work contribute directly to products trusted by customers around the world.

If you’re someone who loves precision machining and thrives in a supportive, small-team environment, we’d love to meet you!

The work itself:

· Develop complete CNC programs from scratch using Mastercam (3D surfacing, 4-axis, lathe).

· Set up and operate HAAS VF-series mills and TL-series lathes.

· Write and optimize tool-paths, select tooling, calculate feeds/speeds, and perform program simulations.

· Edit and prove out G-code at the control to resolve dimensional and cycle-time issues.

· Interpret complex blueprints and apply GD&T principles.

· Inspect in-process and finished parts using precision measurement tools.

· Maintain setup sheets, offset tables, and revision logs.

· Collaborate with engineering on DFM feedback, first-article inspection, and process improvements.

· Uphold a 'right-first time' mindset while ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency in every project.

Our ideal candidate:

· Has 5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience in a job-shop or production environment.

· Expert-level proficiency in Mastercam (2020 or newer) — 3D surfacing, multi-axis milling, and lathe.

· Strong knowledge of HAAS controls, including macros, probing cycles (WIPS), and G-code editing.

· Ability to read complex blueprints and apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5.

· Proficient with materials from aluminum and plastics to stainless, titanium, and high-temp alloys.

· Strong math, geometry, and trigonometry skills for precision work.

· Excellent problem-solving, organization, and time management skills.

· Friendly, team-oriented attitude and proactive communication style.

· Associate’s degree or CNC certification preferred.

· Experience with Renishaw probing or in-machine inspection is a plus.

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

· Hands-on impact: See your craftsmanship come to life in world-class instruments.

· Collaborative team: Work with skilled professionals who value precision and kindness — no egos, just good people who take pride in their work.

· Stability and growth: Monday–Friday schedule, 100% onsite, with opportunities to expand your technical expertise.

· Small business feel, global reach: Be part of a close-knit team that’s making a big impact worldwide.
