Position Overview
The Kitchen Manager will serve as the lead line cook and oversee the daily operations of the kitchen. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a clean, efficient, and well-run workspace. You’ll work closely with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and help coordinate catering events both on and off property.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the lead line cook during regular service
Place and manage orders with food purveyors
Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen conditions
Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff
Coordinate kitchen duties for all catering functions
Ensure consistency, quality, and timely preparation of all menu items
Support a positive and collaborative work environment
Qualifications
Proven experience in a kitchen leadership role
Strong cooking and line-management skills
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Catering experience a plus
Compensation
Annual base salary $48,000 with opportunity for additional hours, bonus and gratuity
