Our established cabinet and countertop shop in Tucson is seeking experienced, qualified Solid Surface and PLAM (Plastic Laminate) Fabricators to join our team. If you take pride in craftsmanship, precision, and creating high-quality finished products, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricating solid surface and PLAM countertops, panels, and components
Reading and interpreting drawings, templates, and fabrication specifications
Cutting, routing, laminating, seaming, sanding, and finishing materials to shop standards
Ensuring all products meet quality, durability, and aesthetic requirements
Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean, safe workspace
Collaborating with shop leadership and installers to meet deadlines and project goals
Qualifications:
Proven experience in solid surface fabrication (Corian, Avonite, etc.) and/or PLAM fabrication
Skilled in using hand tools and power tools (routers, sanders, seam tools, laminate trimmers, table saws, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing top-quality work
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding shop tasks
Knowledge of shop safety, material handling, and fabrication best practices
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
