Companion/helper for kind man with dementia issues

Looking for someone with 5+ hours a week to help with a sweet 68-year-old man with progressing dementia. Duties include some house cleaning/laundry, transportation, but mainly companionship. Someone with a kind and patient demeanor required. Compensation is through IHSS at approximately $18 an hour. If you are not currently an IHSS provider you can start the application process (often takes close to three months) and still be paid for back hours.
