The Arcata Theatre Lounge is looking for a dedicated Security Guard to help us maintain a safe, welcoming atmosphere for our guests, performers, and staff. This role requires a team player who can work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. As a security guard at Arcata Theatre Lounge, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our venue remains a secure space where creativity and entertainment thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
-Monitor the Venue: Patrol the premises during events, monitor entry and exit points, and ensure only authorized individuals have access.
-Guest Safety: Respond quickly and calmly to emergencies, disturbances, or suspicious activities, and assist in evacuations or resolving conflicts.
-Crowd Control: Manage large crowds during busy events, ensure compliance with venue policies, and maintain a safe, organized environment.
-Customer Service: Provide excellent assistance to guests, answering questions, directing patrons, and ensuring they feel safe and supported.
Incident Reporting: Record any incidents, unusual occurrences, or safety concerns and report them to management.
Qualifications:
-Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments, especially during live events.
-Must be able to stand and patrol for extended periods, with the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
-Must have a valid guard card or equivalent.
