Contract Sales Representative – A Fireplace Store & Design Center
Pay: $20–$22 per hour + profit sharing

A Fireplace Store & Design Center has served the High Desert for over 20 years. Under new ownership, we’re modernizing our showroom and improving every part of the customer experience. We’re looking for a sharp, driven sales professional who knows how to close deals, learn quickly, and deliver excellent service.
Position Overview
This is an in-person sales role where you own the entire showroom sales process. You will help customers choose the right fireplace or stove, prepare accurate estimates, close sales, and coordinate installations. If you’re a strong communicator who loves helping customers and can learn our products quickly, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Greet customers in the showroom and guide them to the right fireplace/stove solutions
Prepare accurate estimates and clearly explain pricing and options
Close sales and convert showroom traffic, leads, and inquiries into paid orders
Create invoices and process payments (cash, card, check)
Enter customers, estimates, and invoices in QuickBooks (or learn quickly)
Schedule installations and pass accurate job details to the install team
Respond to phone and online inquiries; follow up with leads
Keep the showroom clean and functional (turn on units, tidy displays)
Participate in check-ins, training, and product updates
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of proven sales experience (commission sales, door-to-door, retail, or high-contact sales preferred)
Strong closer with excellent communication and persuasion skills
Quick learner with the ability to master products and installation basics
Basic QuickBooks experience or the ability to learn estimates/invoices fast
Tech comfortable (POS systems, scheduling tools, simple CRM)
Organized, reliable, and professional with strong follow-through
Able to lift moderate weight when moving displays
Willing to work showroom hours including weekends
Compensation & Benefits
$20–$22/hr base pay
