Temporary in Burbank (Hybrid, 2 days/week onsite)

Seeking a temporary Payroll Analyst with 3+ years multi-state payroll processing experience to cover a 3–4-month assignment and to perform research, analysis, and administrative duties related to the processing of U.S. multi-state and Canada multi-province payroll. This includes compiling, calculating, auditing, reporting, and reconciling payroll data to ensure compliance with internal policies and federal, state, local, and provincial regulations for weekly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Position supports functional and technical issues across ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and Workday, working closely with the Benefits, HR Operations, and Finance teams and reports to the Director of Payroll and Human Resources Operations.

Responsible to:

Process two bi-weekly U.S. multi-state payrolls and a Canada multi-province payroll in ADP WFN.

Research and compile payroll data; generate ad hoc reports for HR, Finance, Accounting, and department leaders using Workday HCM and ADP reporting tools.

Audit and reconcile federal, state, local, and Canadian provincial taxes.

Identify/validate mid-pay-period changes in Workday and ensure correct payroll integration to ADP.

Perform weekly audits related to variances, employee changes, and system integration accuracy.

Assist with annual W-2, T4, and T2200 reporting.

Create and audit manual payroll checks.

Support FSA, HSA, RRSP, and Canada benefit premium audits, reporting, and reconciliation.

Partner with Finance on G/L reconciliations and account validations.

Respond to employee and HR payroll inquiries via email and ticketing systems.

Troubleshoot ADP WFN issues and coordinate with ADP Comprehensive Services.

Process verification of employment requests.

Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or Workday HCM is required; experience with Canada multi-province payroll strongly preferred; Union payroll experience a plus. Must have strong analytical, auditing, and payroll accounting skills with attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision and have follow through on assignments. Professionalism, diplomacy, and strong written and verbal communication skills are needed with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Must have a demonstrated commitment to working effectively in a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm or 9am - 6pm (must be available for OT)

Pay rate is $40-$42/hour
