A busy independent mechanic shop is seeking a dedicated, full-time Mechanic Assistant to join the team. This is an excellent chance to work directly under an experienced mechanic, gain valuable hands-on experience, and learn the trade. The auto shop has been around for many years servicing repeat customers based on the company's integrity and efficiency. Thus, we only hire the best! Job Title: Mechanic Assistant
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8:00 - 17:00)
Lunch Break: 30 minutes, unpaid

Compensation: Based on experience
MINIMUM EXPERIECE: 1 YEAR of prior experience working in an auto repair or maintenance setting is required.
Education: Trade School Certification is not required, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
Skills/Duties: Applicants should be ready to assist the lead mechanic with a variety of tasks, including (but not limited to) general maintenance, basic diagnostics, parts retrieval, shop organization, and keeping work areas clean.
