A well-established stone company in Anaheim is seeking a reliable and experienced Demolition Technician to join their team. This is a full-time position with consistent hours and opportunities for long-term employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Demolition & Removal
Remove existing countertops (granite, laminate, tile, solid surface, etc.) using proper tools and techniques.
Safely detach sinks, backsplashes, cabinetry components, and appliances as needed.
Prepare job sites for new stone installations by clearing and disposing of debris.
Protect surrounding structures (walls, plumbing, electrical, flooring, etc.) during demolition work.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols, including PPE requirements.
Identify potential safety hazards and report or resolve them promptly.
Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
Tools & Equipment
Operate hand tools and power tools such as pry bars, grinders, drills, reciprocating saws, and hammers.
Conduct basic maintenance and inspection of tools and equipment.
Customer Interaction
Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and project managers.
Respect client property and maintain a clean working area.
Collaboration
Coordinate with installation teams to ensure job site readiness.
Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting debris or materials when necessary.
Qualifications Required
Previous experience in demolition, construction, remodeling, or stone countertop removal.
Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong understanding of job-site safety.
Reliable transportation and punctual work habits.
Preferred
Experience working with granite, marble, quartz, or other stone products.
Knowledge of carpentry or remodeling.
Ability to read job orders, measurements, or simple blueprints.
Must speak English, and pass a background check!
