Join Us at The Heavenly Home — Where Love, Dignity & Compassion Guide Every Day

The Heavenly Home, a signature program of the Southern California Hospice Foundation, is a peaceful, nonprofit end-of-life care residence in Mission Viejo that provides comfort, dignity, and compassionate support to residents in their final chapter of life.

We are expanding our caregiving team — and we’re looking for heart-centered individuals who feel called to make a meaningful difference.

Why Work at The Heavenly Home?

Here, you are more than a caregiver — you are a source of comfort, connection, and peace for individuals who have nowhere else to go. Our caregivers build deep, meaningful relationships, provide essential support, and create a sense of home for every resident we serve.

At Heavenly Home, we honor people’s final days with love, respect, and presence. If you have a compassionate spirit and a desire to serve, you will find this work profoundly rewarding.

What You’ll Do:

- Offering medication assistance (with proper training)

- Observing, documenting, and communicating changes in condition

- Building meaningful connections with residents and families

- Providing compassionate presence and companionship

- Upholding resident rights, dignity, and respect at all times

- Reporting concerns, incidents, or potential elder abuse per state guidelines

Every task, big or small, contributes to creating a home filled with warmth, dignity, and exceptional care.

Requirements:

- Must be 18 years or older

- DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance

- Current First Aid certification (CPR preferred)

- Recent health screening and negative TB test

- Ability to lift 20 lbs and push 40 lbs unassisted

- Compassion, patience, and emotional maturity

- Commitment to resident safety, dignity, and well-being

- Willingness to follow all facility and state licensing guidelines

- Ongoing mandatory training participation as required by DSS and Health & Safety Codes
