The role as our Recycle Advisor is a long-term, recession proof, career opportunity. Modern Waste is a B2B technology recycler specializing in e-waste, batteries, appliances, hard drive shredding and more. California has strict laws regarding this type of materials and every business has them. The Recycle Advisor offers unique solutions that are convenient, value driven and secure. As the primary sales professional, they handle all significant leads that come through our advertising as well as developing their own leads.
The ideal candidate is a well-organized self-starter, excellent communicator, proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM. Character and social skills include being compassionate, honest, very hardworking, confident, and highly trainable. They should be well studied in sales (able to quote favorite authors), have proven experience with cold calling, creating sales strategies, managing a CRM, and performing sales processes with a track record of success in their previous roles. Prior B2B industry experience in waste services, document shredding, or recycling preferred.
Training includes core values, vocabulary, sales process, quotes, contracts, CRM, reporting, services and pricing for the first 4 weeks. Direct training and support are anticipated for up to 6 months by the CEO.
Annual Salary is expected to grow to between $60-80k within 12 months of hire $120+ by 2nd year. Compensation consists of the following:
Base salary of $1600/month
Fuel Card: $400/month
7% commission on billables
$0.02/lb. for recyclable materials
