We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join a rewarding company in Loomis, CA!
Compensation: $90k-$110,000k/annually DOE
Schedule: M-F 7am-4pm
Location: Loomis
Job Requirements:
Thoroughly review estimates with owners and clients.
MUST have Xactimate experience
Estimate assigned projects to ensure quality estimates.
Lead effort in reviewing project plan, requirements and specifications for each assigned project.
Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and material pricing.
Responsible to create budget for input into project management software.
Able to work well independently and contribute effectively on team-based projects
Ability to read blueprints and understand specifications for all trades
Knowledgeable of project scheduling, planning, expediting and cost control
Knowledgeable of Prevailing Wage processes and procedures helpful
Excellent written and oral communication skills (bilingual a plus)
Strong attention to detail and process-oriented
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
Sense of urgency in all tasks assigned and highly organized
Strong focus on problem-solving
Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of multiple estimating software and comfortable with complex spreadsheets, database programs, and on-screen takeoff programs
Other duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications:
Have high school diploma or equivalent
Must have valid driver's license
Must have a clean driving record
5-8 years experience of construction estimating is required
Engineering, Construction Management degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
