I am a very fast and efficient tax preparation Bookkeeper. I know my stuff. I’ve been doing it for 30+ yrs. Because I’m GOOD/ACCURATE/FAST and will give you fast and efficient results, as ling as YOU give me what I need/ask for. I type 105gwpm last tested when I was a teenager.
So I’m probably faster now. What do I need? Only this — and please NOTHING MORE.
1-Type of business definition
2- your paper printed checking account statements from your checking account, personal and business, and ALL your credit card accounts that you may have charged anything business related (even personal becoz I know you accidentally do that - so don’t hose yourself by missing something).
3- cash receipts that DO NOT go on your credit or debit bank accounts.
4-DON’T GIVE ME ANY RECEIPTS EXCEPT CASH RECEIPTS (why? Because they are ALREADY on your checking and bank acct stmts! duhh. And that would be wasting my time, which would waste YOUR money paying me to do triple work. Capeesh?)

Thank you. Scared? Don’t be. Taxes are easy if done right. I’m just not dealing with lazy people. Lazy people waste Bookkeepers’ time and then complain why their bills are so high. I’m not lazy. So I don’t expect you to be either…on a FEW SIMPLE things that are needed for a good Bookkeeper to do their job.

DEADLINES: if you want your doggone Corporate taxes done by March 15 (or personal taxes by 4/15), then give me the required prior year January thru Sept paper stmts (as listed above 1-4) by Nov 1st. And the Oct-Dec stmts by Jan 31st.
This isn’t rocket-science. You give me the documents by those deadlines, I will do the rest.
