Responsibilities
- Perform general handyman tasks including carpentry, framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, doors, thresholds, windows, painting, concrete repair, drop ceiling and roof repairs.
- Diagnose issues and recommend the best repair or replacement solutions.
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with tenants and contractors.
- Maintain and check monthly emergency lighting, exit signs, fire doors, and fire extinguishers.
- Daily check of all janitorial supplies in bathrooms and in stock.
- Running a manually operated freight elevator.
- Occasionally performing trash removal and flood clean up.
- Repair of Flushometers.
- Checking tenant units for fire safety violations.
- Knowledge of asbestos abatement procedures.
- Knowledge of HVAC is a plus.
- Tenant room turnover.
- Manage one assistant.

Requirements
- Minimum 6 years experience in handyman, construction, or related trades.
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders when needed.
- Crawling in tight spaces on occasion.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
