About SHOJI –
Here at SHOJI we are looking for kind and hard-working talents who are passionate about hospitality and providing memorable guest experiences. We are looking for a driven and creative bar manager to take the lead in hospitality! Experienced and ambitious talents who want to grow with us are welcomed to apply!
SHOJI Cafe and Bar, located in FiDi/SOMA, is a high-end destination, with a specialty cafe featuring craft coffee and ceremonial matcha drinks in the daytime, that transitions into a chic bar with a robust food program in the evening, highlighting Japanese spirits and Japanese/Thai influenced dishes.
Our cafe is open 7 days a week on Monday - Friday from 8am - 2:30pm and Saturday - Sunday from 9am-2:30pm.
Our bar and restaurant is open Tuesday - Saturday 4pm - 11pm.
We are looking for bar manager professionals who:
- Have at least 3 years experience in relevant role
- Love creating welcoming environments and providing high-quality service for guests
- Able to think quickly on your feet and adapt to new circumstances
- Create systems to ensure quality hospitality
- Great communicator and team player
- Professional and reliable
- Have valid California food handler’s & RBS certificates
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
