We’re looking for the most customer-focused, beer-loving delivery drivers to be a public face of the Barebottle Brand.
Candidates will have:
A passion for beer and brewing; ideally experience with homebrewing
Unfailing politeness and courtesy to outside accounts in a way that shows passion for the product, but without the snobbery typical of many beer-geek establishments
Superior organizational and interpersonal skills
A can-do, servant leadership style
Delivery Duties will include:
Being a public face of the Barebottle brand
Delivering kegs accurately and reliably to accounts on assigned routes
Balance requested delivery times for each account
Obtain proper signatures to acknowledge delivery
Accurately determine keg credit(s) on the spot and recalculate invoice balance
Return signed copies and route log to Fulfillment & Accounts Receivable
Seek out empty kegs to bring back for cleaning
Cleaning draft lines as requested by customers/sales team
Communicating notes about beer lines, account requests, vehicle maintenance, etc on route sheet and to reps / manager where needed
Maintaining existing relationships with accounts and delighting them at every turn
Engage in conversation about Barebottle beers & brand
Supporting the Sales team
Working together to capture and maintain accounts
Sharing leads and account requests
Requirements:
Must be 21 years or older, with a valid CA driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to safely move full kegs (160lbs)
Basic math skills
Preferred Skills:
Mechanical Aptitude
Friendly, Pragmatic, good problem-solving skills
Passion for craft beer
Overview of Employment
All new employees are required to complete a 30-day evaluation period and upon completion will be given an hourly raise.
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate:
$20/hr plus delivery commission (+$1-4 per hour depending on items)
Total effective rate with commission = $21-24 per hour
Paid bi-weekly per Barebottle’s regular payroll schedule
