SUMMARY:
We are seeking well-rounded, experienced, hospitality professionals for a part-time Farmers Market team member positions at the following Markets:
WISE SONS Ferry Building Farmers Market stand (in SOMA) every Saturday; shift approximately 7am-2:30pm
WISE SONS Stonestown Farmers Market stand (beside Stonestown Galleria) every Sunday; shift approximately 8am-2pm
Bilingual (English/Spanish) capability PREFERRED.
Wise Sons team members have the flexibility to run the cash register, work the line to fulfill orders, expo and set up/break down our stand all in a day's work. We are, ideally, looking for someone who can be trained to work the register and also learn how to make our food. Teamwork is crucial to our organization and front of house team members are expected to jump in wherever necessary to get the job done.
THE QUALITIES and REQUIREMENTS to succeed:
- Enjoy working as part of a team; a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality in a diverse and fast paced environment
- The desire to create a warm, welcoming experience for customers and your fellow coworkers
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Weekend availability is required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Fluency with POS systems preferred
- Food Handler’s Certificate, or ability to obtain on
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
