Seeking Flexible Part-Time General Assistant for Bustling Household In Piedmont/Oakland

We are looking for an awesome, reliable part-time General Assistant for a busy household in Piedmont to support our full-time Estate Manager/Executive Personal Assistant with household tasks and projects. This position is ideal for a student or someone with a flexible schedule. General hours are approximately 5-10 hours a week, between Monday through Friday 8 AM and 6 PM, with occasional evening or weekend work. We hope to work with someone in the long-term if possible and invest in a great working relationship. This house has 2 full-time employees and one part-time remote employee and looking to find a great person to join the small team. Over-qualified candidates with extensive years of PA/EA work or career jobs need not apply as it won’t be the right fit.

The ideal candidate would be comfortable working independently and collaboratively in person at their homes in Piedmont and occasionally Stinson Beach. This person must have a car, a valid CA driver's license, and auto insurance. Workdays will vary in tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assisting the full-time Estate Manager/Executive Personal Assistant and other household staff with household tasks and projects to help keep them organized.

We are looking for someone who can help with a variety of physical, hands-on tasks such as organizing projects, event preparation, ordering for the household/processing returns, errand running (mileage is paid for), and some car and household maintenance appointments as needed

Ultimately, we need someone who is flexible in the day-to-day tasks as they can range significantly. No day is ever the same.

Additional Requirements:

Punctual, responsible, and reliable

Ability to multi-task, adapt to a variety of tasks, and pivot when needed

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Great attitude, eager to learn, and easy-going

Tech-savvy and comfortable working with various online platforms and cloud sharing, such as Asana, DropBox, etc.

Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.)

Discretion and professionalism are a must

Hours are approximately 5-10 hours a week, sometimes more. The exact days/hours will be discussed but flexibility is a must.

Pay is commensurate with experience and market rate.
