We are seeking a skilled Fleet Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal working condition for daily operations. The Fleet Vehicle Mechanic will diagnose mechanical issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all fleet vehicles.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory.
Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance and minimize vehicle downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the workshop.
Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in vehicle maintenance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in automotive mechanics preferred.
Proven experience as a fleet vehicle mechanic or similar role.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostic equipment, and repair techniques.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
