Facilities Plumbing and Drain Inc. is looking for a skilled and reliable Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair our company vehicles. This role is essential in keeping our fleet of service trucks and vans in top condition, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Key Responsibilities
✅ Inspect, diagnose, and repair company vehicles, including service trucks and vans
✅ Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations
✅ Troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, and electrical system issues
✅ Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts used
✅ Ensure all vehicles comply with safety and emissions regulations
✅ Manage vehicle parts inventory and order supplies as needed
✅ Work with management to schedule preventative maintenance and minimize downtime
✅ Follow company procedures and safety protocols
Job Requirements
️ 2+ years of experience as an auto mechanic (experience with fleet or service vehicles preferred)
️ High school diploma or GED (automotive certification or vocational training is a plus)
️ Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and maintenance
️ Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment
️ Ability to lift and work on heavy vehicle parts
️ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
️ Valid driver’s license (preferred but not required)
