Journeyman / Lead Plumber
Job Title: Lead Plumber / Journeyman (In-House) Pay: $43.00 – $50.00 per hour (DOE & Licensure)
Property Management Company is seeking a Licensed or Journeyman Plumber to lead our in-house plumbing operations. We are looking for a technical expert who can perform high-level work, ensuring our buildings are code-compliant and reducing our reliance on outside vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Complex Repairs: Handle gas line repairs, main line sewer issues, and repiping projects (Copper/PEX/ABS).
Capital Projects: Execute larger plumbing renovations and pull permits when applicable.
Diagnostics: High-level troubleshooting of boiler systems, recirculation pumps, and complex leaks.
Vendor Management: Assess and oversee third-party contractors for major excavations or jetting.
Code Compliance: Ensure all in-house work meets local building codes and safety standards.
Requirements
Required: Valid Journeyman Card or C-36 Contractor License.
5+ years of professional plumbing experience (Service or New Construction).
Deep knowledge of UPC (Uniform Plumbing Code).
Valid Driver’s License.
