Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Route Driver to join our growing team. You will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to pick up e-waste from scheduled locations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring proper handling of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive a company truck along assigned routes to pick up electronic waste.
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
Communicate professionally with customers at pickup sites.
Complete all necessary paperwork, including pickup confirmations and inventory tracking.
Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
Adhere to all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations.
Assist warehouse staff when needed during downtime.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Knowledge of electronics or recycling industry is a plus, but not required (training provided).
