We are seeking skilled and reliable Journeyman Framers to join our construction team. The ideal candidates will have strong framing experience, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. This role involves building the structural framework for residential and/or commercial projects while maintaining safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship

Key Responsibilities

Construct, erect, install, and repair structural wood framing for walls, floors, roofs, and related components

Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications

Accurately measure, cut, and shape lumber and other framing materials

Install windows, doors, blocking, bracing, and sheathing

Ensure all work meets building codes, quality standards, and project timelines

Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively

Collaborate with foremen, carpenters, and other crew members to complete tasks efficiently

Follow all jobsite safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area

Troubleshoot and correct framing issues as needed

Qualifications

Journeyman-level experience in framing or carpentry (typically 3–5+ years)

Strong knowledge of wood framing techniques, materials, and building codes

Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and plans

Proficient with framing tools and jobsite equipment

Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and handle repetitive tasks

Reliable transportation and punctual work habits

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

Experience with commercial steel stud framing

Knowledge of residential and multi-family construction

Certification in OSHA 10/30 or other safety training

Ability to lead apprentices or laborers

Work Environment & Schedule

Full-time, year-round work

Outdoor, fast-paced construction environment

Overtime or weekend shifts may be required depending on project needs
