Seeking dedicated and experienced Caregivers to support a kind, independent gentleman with a developmental disability who lives in his own apartment in the Ventura area.
This is a fulfilling role for someone who is patient, professional, and committed to helping the client maintain a healthy, productive, and independent life.
The client is a male adult with a developmental disability. He is generally independent but requires support and guidance with daily living tasks.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Daily Living Assistance: Providing assistance and reminders for cooking, cleaning, and maintaining his apartment, accompanying the client to medical appointments, medication management, guidance, assisting with social skills, healthy boundaries, meaningful activities, assisting with personal hygiene and ensuring adherence to a healthy diet.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $19.00 per hour
Benefits: Includes a retirement plan and Health Insurance.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience: Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities including those who may present with some behavioral challenges.
Background Check: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check (clean record is mandatory).
Health Screenings: Must be able to pass a physical examination and a TB test.
Reliability: Must be highly reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
