Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience upholstering seating products — preferably medical or dental stools — and be able to work with vinyls, leathers, and various foams. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and pride in producing professional, consistent results.
Responsibilities:
Upholster and assemble dental stools and related seating components
Apply foam, padding, and fabric/vinyl coverings to frames
Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
Maintain tools, sewing machines, and work area in good condition
Collaborate with production and assembly teams to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
1+ years of upholstery experience (furniture, automotive, or medical seating preferred)
Ability to read measurements and patterns accurately
Skilled in using industrial sewing machines and hand tools
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Standing, bending, and manual handwork for extended periods
