Toki Underground is a 26-seat restaurant located in the H street corridor established since 2011 and just awarded best ramen in DC, as well as multiple other awards through the years. We’re an Izakaya & Ramen bar serving up delicious food, drinks and great energy. We are currently looking for a responsible, dependable individual to join our team as host. We are looking for someone who loves food, can rise to a challenge, enjoys work, works well with a team and has strong multi tasking abilities. Experience in high volume, customer facing, fast paced environments is a plus. Less experienced candidates with the right attitude and drive and are willing to learn are welcome. We will respond to suitable applicants.
Expectations:
At least 2 years of customer service experience
Excellent communication skills
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to occasionally lift 25 lbs. or more
Provide excellent hospitality to guests
Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work with a team
Someone who shows initiative and displays positive energy
