The Bombay Club is a Washington Institution and part of the Knightsbridge Restaurant Group, serving Indian cuisine located one block from the White House, consistently named one of the best restaurants in Washington, DC, and has been an iconic institution for over thirty-six years and nominated for the best top 50 independent Restaurant 2024 in the country and D.C. Restaurant (Hall of Fame) by Washington Post in 2024/2025 and also nominated of the Best 5 Indian Restaurants in Washington D.C. by MICHELIN GUIDE.
1. The Host/Hostess needs to be able to work in a high-paced environment and learn and understand the concept of the Restaurant to guide our guests in person or on the phone. Must have at least one year of experience and be familiar with OpenTable (reservation system).
Ability to speak clearly and articulately on the phone, providing information and answering questions for callers, while focusing on etiquette and conveying a sense of calm.
2. The Servers need to be able to work in a high-paced environment, learn and understand a diverse menu, and have a basic understanding of liquor, beer, and wine. The restaurant is busy year-round with consistently high income.
What we are asking for:
Must have weekend availability
Two years’ experience in well-reviewed restaurants is preferred
Knowledge of wine and spirits and interest in Indian cuisine, techniques, and ingredients
Hospitality-driven personality and positive attitude, and passion for the hospitality industry.
