A greenhouse in Washington, DC is hiring to fill Trimmer and Cultivation Assistants positions
Job Description:
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES
Full time positions available
Shifts can start as early as 6:00 am and end as late as 5:00 pm
Must be available weekends when necessary. This is a 7 day a week operation.
Must be able to self manage and self motivate
Grow, process, package and ship flowers
Maintain cleanliness of facility and workspaces, inside and outside
At times you will be exposed to summer or winter weather conditions
Maintain overall health of plants ot include, watering, pruning, mixing of nutrients, and applying pest management products
Greenhouse experience a plus
Horticulture/cultivation experience a plus
Basic understanding of Windows and MS Office a plus.
On occasion be able to lift 40+ lbs. (with assistance when necessary)
Walk, stand, sit, bend, crouch, climb and stand on ladders throughout the course of a work day

Located – 5-10 minutes from Bladensburg, Hyattsville, Mt. Rainier and only 15 minutes from College Park
Must have reliable transportation (Employee Parking Provided)
Must be available to work weekends when necessary

Hourly Rate $20.00 and up based on experience
