Well-established, coast-to-coast Airbnb company is looking to hire a cleaning professional with handyperson acumen to oversee a wide variety of tasks to support a wonderful property near Southern Ave Metro Station in Washington, DC.
The most competitive candidates for this excellent and entrepreneurial position are the ones who have hands-on skills and a flexible schedule. The schedule could be anywhere from 2-3x a week and could vary from 5 hours per week. On demand flexibility is highly preferred!
Qualifications
Well-organized with general repair skills
Experience in light to moderate handyman work and who's open to some cleaning
Clean common area (kitchen, bathrooms, etc.) and rooms between bookings
Light groundskeeping of walking trails/paths on property
Present professionalism and courteous attitude towards both guests and staff
Supporting the check-in process for guests and assist guests with needs or questions on occasion
Light experience with hand and power tools
Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems is preferred
Responsibilities
Respond to calls to investigate issues reported by guests
Perform maintenance and light repairs
Perform routine, straightforward landscaping
Assist vendors with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
Identify and report the need for major repairs
Performing room turnovers as needed
