MetroTalk Inc., a communication solutions company based in Lorton, VA, is hiring a reliable Part-Time Driver/Warehouse Assistant to join our team. You’ll use a company vehicle to deliver and pick up orders around DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. When deliveries aren't scheduled, you'll help with tasks in our warehouse, including receiving and preparing radio rental orders.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM – 4:00 PM
No weekends required
This is not an independent contractor role. You will report to our Lorton office daily and work as part of Metrotalk’s team.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and pick up equipment orders using company vehicles
Assist in the warehouse with radio rental preparation and other tasks
Communicate effectively with customers and internal staff
Use GPS and mapping tools to plan efficient routes
Follow company policies and procedures
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Familiarity with DC, MD, and Northern VA roads
Good communication skills (in person, by phone, and in writing)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable using GPS navigation tools
Basic computer skills (Microsoft 365 preferred)
Must pass a background check and drug test
Must be authorized to work in the US
Willingness to learn two-way radio equipment and teach customers basic usage
