Job Summary:
We are seeking professional, reliable, and alert Part-Time Security Officers to provide security services at nightclub and entertainment venues. Officers will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patrons, staff, and property while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, violence, and other disturbances
Enforce venue rules, policies, and applicable laws
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
Manage crowd control and assist with entry and exit procedures
Observe, report, and document incidents accurately and thoroughly
Communicate effectively with venue management, law enforcement, and emergency responders when necessary
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must possess a valid DC Security Officer license or have the ability to obtain a Security Officer (SO) license within 60 days of hire
Ability to work effectively in both cold and hot weather conditions
Strong time-management skills and reliability
Flexibility to work with short notice
Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Prior security, nightclub, or customer service experience preferred but not required
Compensation:
