Exclusive Blendz is a well-established upscale barbershop located in Silver Spring, MD. We foster a fun environment where there is room to grow and perfect your craft. At present, we are seeking barbers/stylists for our brand-new Fenwick Lane, Silver Spring location. The shop is conveniently located just steps from the Silver Spring metro and has easy access to parking.
Responsibilities:
Provide barbering and hairstyling services to clients.
Perform haircuts, shaves, trims, locs and other natural hairstyles, as well as other grooming services.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in barbering and hairstyling.
Consult with clients to understand their desired look and provide recommendations.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
Skills:
Proficiency in using salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client information.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Familiarity with color theory for hair coloring services.
Valid cosmetology/barbering license or actively studying for licensure.
Expertise in various hair styling techniques and trends.
Mentoring skills to guide and train junior barbers/stylists preferred.
