Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified automotive electromechanical technician with ASE and ATTI certifications to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in electromechanics.
Requirements:
Experience in maintenance and strong knowledge of electromechanics.
Familiarity with schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills, combined with analytical abilities to diagnose complex electromechanical issues.
Utilize welding techniques, including repair welding, as needed.
Diagnose the cause of failure and perform repairs.
Perform a thorough safety check and multi-point inspection to determine if any additional service is required.
Report if repairs cannot be completed within the promised timeframe.
Document a detailed description of repairs performed, in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
Test drive vehicles as needed. Notify the shop foreman if any test drives reveal issues.
Verify that all repairs performed are correct and that the vehicle is safe for delivery to the customer.
Ensure the customer's vehicle is kept protected and clean during the repair process. Clean any dirt or grease before returning the vehicle to the owner.
Strong communication skills in English and Spanish are required for interaction with customers, as needed.
