Everde Growers is seeking an experienced Mechanic to be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of agricultural and nursery equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations across our farm in Canal Point.
Key responsibilities include:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair agricultural equipment such as tractors, skid steers, loaders, utility vehicles (Gators), and farm trucks
Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate repair and service records
Communicate equipment status with supervisors and managers
Ensure all repairs are completed safely and in compliance with company standards.
We require:
Previous hands-on experience as a mechanic in an agricultural, nursery, or farm setting
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Must provide and maintain basic mechanic tools
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a team environment
Bilingual Spanish is helpful but not mandatory
