JOB OVERVIEW: Under the general guidance of the Executive Chef, support the seamless running of the kitchen, by maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, dishes, utensils, and equipment. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Obtains service area assignments at the beginning of each shiftEnsure that all cooking utensils and equipment are clean, dry, and correctly stored in the designated areasEnsure that kitchen work areas are kept clean and tidy, this may include sweeping, mopping, trash removal and other functions as requested by the managerEnsure that the correct chemicals are used as part of your duties as dishwasherMaintain a clean work areaAbility to work under demanding an strenuous situationsComply with all Health and Safety functionsAny other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or managerWe recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service.We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to, on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional service
